Electro-Mechanical / Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:
Maintenance Technician II position will perform all building and grounds maintenance functions along with electrical troubleshooting/repair of various control circuits as needed. The position may include working in any or all of the production and post-production functions.
Full time - 6AM - 2:30 AM or 7AM to 3:30 PM M - F

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Occasional ground maintenance to include shoveling snow, sanding, digging, mowing, etc.
  • Occasional facility maintenance to include construction, demolition, painting , electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC repair, etc.
  • May be responsible for managing inventory and ordering repair parts and supplies for maintenance projects.
  • Run errands for supplies, etc.
  • Tool repair, welding, equipment moving.
  • Routine maintenance on several pieces of equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of a variety of electro-mechanical equipment, machinery 24VAC to 480VAC three phase.
  • Able to read, troubleshoot and draw up electric schematics and control circuits.
  • Use hand tools such as torque wrenches, hand drills, screwdrivers and pliers.
  • Read, understand and follow work order and specifications.
  • Follow written and verbal procedures or instructions.
  • Able to function with minimal supervision, taking the initiative to competently achieve whatever repairs are necessary.

  • Develop profitable purchasing strategies
  • Assess supplier profiles and analyze offers
  • Prepare and implement effective negotiation tactics
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
  • Review supplies to ensure quality
  • Monitor stock levels
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports (revenues, buying expenditures etc.)
  • Keep updated records
  • Obtain quotes for requested materials, supplies and services.
  • Create Purchase Orders for requested materials, supplies, and services.
  • Monitor and perform follow-up on all outstanding Purchase Orders.
  • Resolve Purchase Orders differences: price differences with quotes and billed amounts; resolve all quantity differences.
  • Manage functions, prioritize requirements and monitor reports: quotes, material, hardware, outside processing, general needs.
  • Monitor critical shortage report.
  • Track vendor ratings.
  • Handle purchased returns.
  • Run errands such as obtain local supplies, mail pick up and bank deposits, etc.
  • Assist in the maintenance and writing of purchasing procedures.
  • Proven experience as a purchasing agent or relevant role
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and purchasing software (e.g. SpendMap)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong analytical mindset
  • Outstanding organizational skills

Planning Tech – Engineering Work Order Writer

Summary and Requirements:
  • Read blueprints and transfer information.
  • Understand part fabrications sequences and apply the methodology to written instructions for production departments.
  • Conceptualize objects in a 3 dimensional reference plane.
  • Strong math skills required.
  • Good computer skills required
  • Clear and legible handwriting is necessary.

Production Operator for Shop (Deburr)

Full time day shift position 6 AM - 2:30 PM M-F.

Engineering Tech - CAD

Position Summary:  
Generate CAD plots to provide various manufacturing instructions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 
·         Perform work with exactness per written procedures.
·         Use and read various blueprints, mylars, cad plots, specifications and other engineering documents.
·         Conceptualize objects in a three dimensional reference plane.

Develop the ability to generate CAD plots, using commercial software which conform to all the requirements in the Cygnus quality manual, including:
·         Incorporating customer requirements.
·         Checking pertinent drawing views and notes. 

-  Attention to detail.
- Computer experience and ability to learn computer programs well.
- Strong math skills.
